During this course, you will learn how to locate relevant briefs, pleadings, motions, dockets, jury verdicts, settlements, expert materials, and comprehensive reports most efficiently on experts, judges, and opposing counsel in Westlaw. You will also learn how to conduct additional research within dockets, jury instructions, court rules and Key Numbers.  You will apply KeyCite to verify if you are relying on good law. The instructor will cover how to use Litigation Analytics to hone litigation strategy and to manage expectations. Finally, the instructor will show you how to use Quick Check to check your own work and to analyze an opponent’s brief. (This CLE will be on the Westlaw Edge platform, but the techniques you learn will work on Westlaw Edge or Westlaw Precision).
